I was alone, I was sad,

I was reckless, I was mad.

I didn't know what was next,

I lived like a leaf, detached and vexed.

I was out, I was free,

Without my tree, just like the sea.

I was aimless, I was angry,

I had no family, no sanctuary.

I didn't know who I was,

I lived apart, without a cause.

I was dark, I was crying,

Without love, I felt like dying.

No one came, I waited long,

No man, no angel, no savior strong.

I was alone, I was sad,

But then I saw what I had.

In that moment, I met me,

I liked her, loved her, set her free.

I cared for her, without fear,

And happiness began to appear.

I am happy, I am loved,

I am cared for, blessed from above.

I have someone who is enough,

I have my pack, my tree, my love
